Seems like the folks at Jeep just love any excuse to make “special edition” vehicles. Now that I think about it though, I guess it’s always been like that. Even with the CJ’s, Jeep put out limited production special edition vehicles (like the Levi’s Edition CJ7). Anyway, following in the footsteps of the 60th Anniversary Edition Jeeps of 2001, Jeep has just introduced the 65th Anniversary Edition vehicles for 2006.

However, unlike the 60th Anniversary Edition vehicles which were only available in black or silver (if I’m remembering right), the 65th Anniversary Edition vehicles will be offered in Light Khaki, Dark Khaki, Bright Silver, Black and a very cool new color, Jeep Green (shown in the pic above).
