Default Warrior Jeep

Jason can you sticky this thread.

This is the Wounded Warrior Project Jeep that I'll update as I get more information, pictures, etc.

This past February the Arkansas Crawlers wanted to come up with a charity project, we discussed alot of differant ideas but ended up deciding to build a jeep, raffle it off with everything going to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) was founded on the principle that veterans are our nation's greatest citizens. The WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq , Afghanistan , and other locations around the world. Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns and blast injuries that will retire these brave warriors from military service.

Now that you know what the Wounded Warrior Project is Ill tell you what's happened from there.

Bret Lovett the owner and CEO of Superlift Suspension Systems really thought that this was a great project and has taken it to levels we couldnt achieve without him. He has donated a 07 4door jk rubicon, Chrysler SkunkWerks has donated a 6.4 L 540hp Heimi. It will be getting D60s, Lift, custom paint, and all the goodies. This vehicles will be released at SEMA this year in the Chrysler booth then will travel with the Superlift Truck to all the events 20+ over the next year. There will be Serious Media Coverage, magazines, TV etc.

The Jeeps value will be close to 100K. We are expecting from 250K to 500k to be given in donations maybe more !

Our hope is that the 4wheel enthusiasts will really support this and help support our soldiers !

Donate some cash to a great non profit organization that supports our wounded soldiers.

Have the chance to win 100k Jeep.

Ticket price will be around $25.00 and completely tax deductible. 100% of the proceeds go to Wounded Warrior.

Here are some pics of it right after the 6.4L Hemi installation.

Here's the wounded warrior Layout

The attached rendering was produced by the painter via airbrush. It shows the basic concept on a stock Jeep; he did not include different tires / wheels, lift, bumpers, etc., so the visual is not as dramatic.

Noteworthy points:

* Are retaining vehicle's stock silver base.

* The graphics, primarily the flag and purple heart (heart on hood center) will be in Kandy colors.

* The overlay art (map, soldiers, WWP logo) will be black. May add a Blackhawk medivac silhouette above the map. The Kandys will give the project a softer, "ghosted" look.

* The map will be more defined with topographical features.

* WWP logo size will be increased.

* Need Jeep's blessing to move "RUBUCON" logo from hood sides to above rear wheel well so flag graphics will be cleaner.

The painter is one of the nation's premiere graphics guys; he's done 5 vehicles for Superlift over the years, including Rock Fink, which won a Chrysler design award in 2005. His website is www.joeyhutsonart.com. Check it out.

When I took all those pics, I also got a short video of it running. The 6.1L Hemi sounds sweet. I'll see if I can upload it somewhere and post the link.
