Default 2007: Year in Review (Lots of Pics)

OK, since I've done this the last two years, I'm keeping the tradition going.

For those that missed the last two years:

2005: http://jeepin.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22608
2006: http://jeepin.net/forum/showthread.php?t=36779

Well, 2007 started out a little bit slow because I was working two jobs for the beginning of the year, but I did manage to buy a new Jeep and really get out there and do some wheeling and exploring this year. As you might have noticed, my wheeling shifted from rock crawling to expedition style wheeling this year, as I enjoy both. But don't worry, I'm planning on finishing up my 92 XJ again in the next few months and getting it out in 2008 to do some more crawling

I did manage to meet my goal this year of wheeling in 10 different states (Indiana, Missouri, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Illinois). I got to check out a lot of new and different places, and wheel with some old friends and made some new ones. I had a great year of wheeling, and am looking forward to 2008.

However, I also lost a good friend and fellow wheeler to a car accident this year as well.

Enough talk, here's the pics.

lots of practice......seriously. it took me many tries (and many months) of not making it before I finally figured out how to get up it. once i figured out the trick for my vehicle to make it up, I can pretty much do it every time now

Thats what I heard. Something about just sitting there spinning to dry the front tires? I still think its crazy what you can do on 33's
