Default 2008: Year in Review (Lots of Pics)

For all of you keeping track, this is my fourth year in a row doing the end of the year review.

For those that missed the last three years:

2005: http://jeepin.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22608
2006: http://jeepin.net/forum/showthread.php?t=36779
2007: http://jeepin.net/forum/showthread.php?t=47165

2008 started out a little slow for me during the first few months while I was looking for a new job and then moved out to western Colorado, but once I got settled in out here, I managed to get a ton of exploring in.

Unfortunately, I have not had a garage since I moved out here, so my 92 XJ is still sitting idle. However, I have recently started looking for a house, so one of my goals for 2009 is to get my 92 XJ back together so I can start running Billings and 21 Road frequently

Enough talk, here are the pictures.

Awesome pics!!
I love these two:

If I lived out there I'd absolutely do the same type of exploring you do. I'm jealous.

What's the deal with the steel protrustions here?

absolutely gorgeous landscape...I'd never make it down one of those roads in a day though, I'd be stopping to climb things left and right.

Looked like there were a few good pieces of scrap along the way there in Colorado. Could you have taken?

OH THE PAIN YOU HAVE CAUSED.

I'm coming for you Randy. And I'm gonna yell at you really loud when I get there. But then after I yell we can talk and wheel.

See you this summer. Get earplugs.

Really sweat pics. I keep telling the wife that when we go out to Yellowstone this summer I want to dip down into Colorado and do some scenic driving like that with the TJ on the way home. She's hesitant since she thinks our boys will be bored by it (ages 5 and 7), but she's digging your scenery shots and I think I may be swaying her.
